Andrew leads the H-I Network for Operational Excellence, which shares practical experiences and develops future best practices for leaders of operational improvement programmes in large, complex organisations. Andrew has been delivering tailored programmes which bring the power of the Network to address specific member challenges. Considerable value has been delivered in areas such as global and local processes, managing risk and improving operations, procurement and leadership.
Prior to joining the Network, Andrew was manager of CSC's UK Innovation Factory drawing on his 19 years experience in a variety of roles in membership and research programmes at CSC, Index and Butler Cox. Andrew has led business transformation programmes for his own business units, co-ordinated the creation of CSC's business transformation service in 2006, and advised clients and consultants on best practices in this field. He previously had roles as divisional manager, product manager, sales and support in the software industry.
Andrew began his career, and gained his degree in Business Studies, in the engineering industry.
